Wait, This Is Cool, by SnowForge LLC · Last updated 7 September 2026
The app is called On Deck in some places, including the Google sign-in screen and its bundle identifier. They are the same app.
The app turns something you share — a link, a post, a screenshot — into a saved place, event or item with a deadline, and reminds you before it passes. This page describes exactly what that involves storing.
What we store
- What you share. The URL, any note you add, and — when you share a screenshot — that image. For posts on Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and Reddit, your phone reads the post’s public title, description and thumbnail and sends those along with the link.
- What we work out from it.A name, category, venue, address, coordinates, dates and deadline, produced by sending the above to Anthropic’s API. Some fields are estimates and are labelled as such in the app.
- Your account. An email address and sign-in identity held by Clerk, our authentication provider. We do not store your password; we never see it.
- A push token, if you allow notifications, so a reminder can reach your device.
- Calendar access, only if you connect one.We store an encrypted refresh token and read your busy times to answer “am I free?”. We write an event only when you ask us to.
What we do not do
- We do not sell or rent your data, and we do not run ads.
- We do not track your location. The app requests no location permission.
- We do not read your calendar beyond the days you ask about, and we never modify or delete events we did not create.
- We do not log into any social platform on your behalf or access anything private there. Our servers never contact those sites; your own device reads the public preview, exactly as your browser would.
How saved items are separated between people
Facts about a place — its name, address and opening hours — are stored once and shared, because they are public information and it would be wasteful to re-derive them. Everything personal is stored separately and privately: your note, your tags, the post you saved it from, your thumbnail, your reminders, your planned visit length.
This separation is structural, not a policy promise. The shared record carries no link to any user, no counts and no history, so it is not possible for one person to learn that another saved the same thing.
Who else processes it
- Anthropic — the shared content, to extract details from it.
- Clerk — sign-in and your account identity.
- Neon (database), Upstash (job queue), Vercel and AWS — hosting and storage.
- Expo — delivering push notifications to your device.
- Google — only if you connect a calendar.
Keeping and deleting
Saved items are kept until you delete them. You can delete your entire account from inside the app: that removes your saved items, notes, thumbnails, reminders, push tokens and connected calendars, and deletes your sign-in identity at Clerk. Shared public facts about a place may remain, because they contain nothing about you.
Disconnecting a calendar deletes the stored token immediately. You can also revoke the app’s access from your Google account at any time.
Children
The app is not directed at children under 13.
